This AgVet Chemical User Course provides training for safe chemical use, storage and handling and it is required to apply for an Agricultural Chemical User Permit (ACUP).
Training is delivered face to face and through real time webinars over 3 days.
The AgVet Chemical User Course is a nationally accredited training activity and can be completed as a Skill Set or packaged into a qualification such as the Certificate III in Agriculture (AHC30122) or the Certificate III in Poultry Production (AHC30522) qualifications.
The units are:
- Prepare and apply chemicals to control pest, weeds and diseases (AHCCHM307)
- Transport and store chemicals (AHCCHM304)
