The Advanced feed milling training is jointly offered by UQ Skills and the Stock Feed Manufacturing Council of Australia. This is a non-accredited training program and is for applicants working as feed mill operators or supervisors.
All training is offered online and participants must be employed in a relevant position where an on-site supervisor is available to assist participants through their training experience.
The training program offers topics including:
- mill safety and quality assurance
- ingredient handling and storage
- milling techniques
- production and processing.
