Chicken litter screening and search tool

The Chicken litter screening tool is a database of bedding and litter materials for the Australian chicken meat industry. It details the beneficial properties, potential hazards and risks associated with different litter materials, and allows the user to search materials by litter type, suitability or by a keyword search. There is also detailed information with links to scientific papers for many of the litter options.

This search tool is for anyone in the chicken meat industry, research or education who wants information about the different bedding and litter options.

Please let us know what you think about the tool, your experience of using different litters or if we’ve missed anything by emailing Chicken litter screening tool team.
